Requirements for entering the country.
Sanitary restrictions for the entry of Nationals and resident foreigners.

2. Vaccinated against Covid-19.
People over 12 years of age who are vaccinated with the complete scheme against Covid-19, must present a test (RNA detection techniques: RT-PCR / LAMP / NAAT) with a negative result, performed in a time not exceeding 72 hours of shipment or a negative antigen test performed within 24 hours of shipment. They must prove that they were vaccinated with a vaccination certificate or card issued by the health authority of the country of origin. Those who have completed 14 days of the last dose of the complete scheme are considered fully vaccinated. (This group will not perform preventive isolation).
3. Not vaccinated or with an incomplete scheme against Covid-19.
People over 12 years of age who are vaccinated against Covid-19, or who have not completed their vaccination schedule, must present a test (RNA detection techniques: RT-PCR / LAMP / NAAT) with a negative result, performed in a time not exceeding 72 hours after shipment or a negative antigen test performed in a time not exceeding 24 hours after shipment.
4. People who already had the disease.
People who have presented the COVID-19 disease from 14 to 90 days prior to entering the country, must prove this situation through laboratory results, RNA detection techniques: RT-PCR / LAMP / NAAT or positive antigen test . It will not be necessary to present a new RNA test: negative RT-PCR / LAMP / NAAT. (This group will not perform preventive isolation but should perform a confirmatory RNA: RT-PCR / LAMP / NAAT test on the 5th day of admission).
5. RNA test: RT-PCR / LAMP / NAAT in the country.
All persons older than 12 years of age, vaccinated with a complete, incomplete and unvaccinated scheme, after completing 5 days, to be counted from the day of sampling of the RT-PCR test or antigen test presented upon entry to the country (day 1 is fulfilled 24 hours after taking the sample), another RNA test must be performed: RT-PCR / LAMP / NAAT on day 5, in a public or private laboratory authorized by the Central Public Health Laboratory. This test should also be performed by the person who has had the disease.
6. Preventive isolation.
All nationals, foreigners and foreign residents over 12 years of age who have not been vaccinated with the complete Covid-19 vaccine scheme, despite presenting an RNA test: RT-PCR / LAMP / NAAT with a negative result or a test of negative antigen, they must complete a preventive isolation in national territory at their home, hotel or where they fix residence in order to complete 5 days to be counted from the day of taking the sample of the RT PCR or antigen test presented upon entry to the country (day 1 is fulfilled 24 hours after taking that sample) and another RT-PCR test must be performed on day 5, in a public or private laboratory authorized by the Central Public Health Laboratory. If it is positive, it will keep isolation for 7 more days and if it is negative, it will be able to leave its isolation.
7. Investors, specialized technicians and other special cases, for a period of up to 5 days.
Any person who enters from any country, for reasons of technical assistance, business or economic interest for Paraguay and other special cases, for a period of up to 5 days, must request authorization from the Interinstitutional Coordination Center (CCI), through the email codenapy2@outlook.com or Cell: 0981813573.
Entry will be authorized by the Interinstitutional Coordination Center (CCI) in coordination with the Directorate of Border Surveillance and Control. In the event that the stay is extended for a period greater than 5 days, it must be authorized by the CCI, with a prior notification of 72 hours to the email address provided or to the WhatsApp number. The person interested in entering the country must provide a schedule of the activities they intend to develop. Organizations, companies, public and private institutions, or people independently who are beneficiaries of this modality will be responsible for compliance with the provisions of the Protocol cited in the link provided.
The control of sanitary requirements upon entry to the country will be in charge of the sanitary control health personnel.
At border points where health personnel are not available, the Migration staff will carry out the control of compliance with health requirements.
Non-resident foreigners must meet the same requirements applicable to resident and national foreigners.
